At Compile, we believe that it's important for our team members to get to know each other and bond outside of the office. That's why we organize an annual company trip where employees from the Netherlands and Norway come together. This trip can take us to either of the two countries, or to a new destination altogether.
Througout the year we enjoy social activities such as sports or meals at local restaurants. When the semesters end we come together for a vinter/summer party.
We encourage our team to select and attend a conference of their choice annually, either as a group or individually. This spring (2023), several of our developers will attend KotlinConf in the Netherlands. It's a great way for us to learn something new and strengthen our team bonds.

Compiles Earnings model
At Compile, we offer a variety of compensation and benefits to our team members, including:

An hourly rate of 55% of the billed rate to the customer for all billable hours worked

Vacation pay of 12% of employee salary

A pension contribution of 5% of employee salary

Total compensation and benefits package: Approximately 64.6%
In addition to these benefits, we offer a base salary of 6G (NOK 668,862 per 2022) for non-billable hours, calculated hourly. For non-billable work during billable projects, employees will be compensated at a higher rate.
